ScottishMetal was started by an amateur DJ/Podcaster known as The Kilted Headbanger!
Initially it was hobby to fill in some spare time but has since then it has grown into much more. At first it was just looking for some new music, bands and sounds and then thinking, " Why keep these new finds to myself?, Why not let others hear them as well?" That is where the podcast stared, check out the ARCHIVE link to hear how it all began....and if it's got any better with time.
Since then, like all seeds, it grew into something bigger. The Podcast continues but has also grown to a Radio Show on Saturday nights 6-9pm on TotalBiker FM. Click on Jukebox to go straight there.
Also ScottishMetal joined metal forces with a new community of Glasgow Metal - Mayhem Underground to help rebuild the metal scene in Glasgow. With weekly gigs at Pivo Pivo including DJ Crazy Bitch (also from TBFM), Photographers Serina & Pamela Marshall from Marshall Artscene Photography, Reviewer Sarah Louise Kelly of When the Music Stops and Comedian Grant Gallacher.
